These unique and critically endangered animals are facing a crisis, mislabelled as "wild dogs" and targeted by extermination programs.
The South Australian government's plan to eradicate all "wild dogs" south of the dingo fence is pushing them towards extinction. Inbreeding is rampant, making them even more vulnerable.
The Victorian government's plan to GPS collar them poses further risks. All this is happening with complete disregard for the wishes and advice of Traditional Owners, scientists, dingo experts, and conservationists.
